Summer started to sizzle for me on Saturday – but only because I had crossed the pond for a book signing with celebrity chef Rob Rainford at the dazzling AGA store in Toronto.
My foodie friends in Canada told me he was a real whizz on the barbecue, with a brand new book sure to add a little spice to my own garden gatherings.
I loved the event, adored the wonderful food and I got a book signed by the author himself.
Then things really started to heat up when cookshop manager Daniel Frohlich fired up the new AGA Total Control cooker for the audience, boiling, broiling and baking tasty dishes from Rob Rainford’s book.
