As you know I love to spot AGA cookers on TV and have mentioned before that it’s something of a sport in our house to be the first to shout AGA as soon as one appears.

Well, we were in for a treat last week when ITV Central News actually filmed in the AGA foundry for a piece they were doing about AGA cookers being exported to China.

The ITV presenters introduced the AGA cooker as a “symbol of middle-class Englishness”
